Build skateboards. Build a brand. Earn high school credits. OSF helps you graduate by expressing your creativity through independent learning.
Oasis Skateboard Factory is an alternative high school program of the Toronto District School Board.
OSF is an alternative high school program that’s fully accredited by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Our innovative program helps at-risk youth re-engage in small educational settings.
Grade 11 & 12 courses are taught through the lens of street and skate art including English, Media, Business, Entrepreneurship, Visual Arts/Design, and Skateboard/Art Co-op placements.
Our program is designed to help unconventional thinkers be their best selves. Many students who have had difficulties at traditional secondary schools thrive at OSF.
Our curriculum is designed to teach the entrepreneurial skills you can’t learn at a traditional high school. Here, students learn by doing in a project-based environment that gives them the freedom to run their own business.
The best part? OSF students are never confined to a classroom. From pop-up events to gallery shows, everything they work on has a life outside the walls of our school.
We are a Toronto District School Board alternative high school located in downtown Toronto. The name of our school is inspired by Andy Worhol’s Art Factory. We make custom skateboards by hand using ROARROCKIT vacuum bags and veneers, and woodwork and hand painted graphics. We specialize in one-off boards and artist collaborations.
We do not teach skateboarding lessons but we almost always have a student attending who can teach privately. We are happy to liaison.
